Major International Recognition for Theotokos Foundation
We are delighted to announce that the joint nomination of Theotokos Foundation and the Cyber Crime Division, with the project:
“The Other Side of Technology: Safe Digital Inclusion – An Accessible Protection Model for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities”
has been selected for the Zero Project Awards 2027 Shortlist.
The selection was made through an international peer-review process, involving disability experts from around the world, and represents significant recognition of the innovation, social impact and inclusive approach of our initiative.
🤝 Through this collaboration, we aim to strengthen the safe, equal and meaningful digital participation of people with neurodevelopmental disabilities, providing them with knowledge and tools to help prevent and protect against online risks.
This distinction confirms the power of partnerships that put people at the centre and create meaningful conditions for accessibility, autonomy and inclusion.
The evaluation process is still underway, and the winners of the Zero Project Awards 2027 will be announced on 3 December 2026, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The award-winning initiatives will be presented at the Zero Project Conference 2027, taking place from 10 to 12 February 2027 at the United Nations Office at Vienna.
We remain committed to creating opportunities for a digital world that is safe and accessible to everyone. 💚
