The «Papageia» has always been more than just a sporting event. It is an institution with a deep social impact, a day dedicated to participation, inclusion, and the joy of collective effort. 
This year’s «Papageia 2026» had a special dynamic and offered all of us moments of emotion, energy, and true connection. Through the games, activities, and everyone’s participation, it was highlighted once again that sports unite and create equal opportunities for all.
A special place in this year’s event was held by the athletes of Special Olympics Hellas, who, with their presence and participation, gave a unique pulse to the day and practically highlighted the importance of equal participation in sports.
Special mention should also be made of journalist Ioannis Stathopoulos, who, with his excellent presentation and broadcast of the event, gave a unique rhythm and energy, exciting the audience and conveying the day’s pulse.
A big thank you also to Mr. Michalis Stasinopoulos and Mr. Stefanos Pesmazoglou for their valuable contribution to the upgrade of Theotokos Foundation’s sports facilities.
