Early Intervention Department

Ages: 0 - 6 years old

Ages: 0 – 6 years old

Operating since 2000, our Early Intervention Department is built upon the evidence-based Family-Centered Model of Early Childhood Intervention. We deliver highly specialized, individualized services to preschool-aged children with neurodevelopmental disorders, while actively scaffolding and supporting their families.

Our Core Mission: To maximize each child’s developmental potential, empower and resource parents in their role as primary caregivers, mitigate developmental challenges, and facilitate a smooth, successful transition into mainstream school and social environments.

Holistic Assessment & Collaborative Interventions

Our Interdisciplinary Team conducts a comprehensive developmental assessment of the child, paired with a functional evaluation of the family’s unique needs, while identifying and mobilizing their existing community support networks.

Every intervention pathway is custom-designed and implemented in strict, daily partnership with the parents, alongside active liaison with regional healthcare and educational authorities.

Our Clinical & Educational Modalities

To cover every aspect of a child’s growth, the department offers a dual-track approach:

  • Preschool Simulation Program: A structured, group-based psychopedagogical program operating with a low child-to-instructor ratio to replicate a real nursery school environment.
  • Individual Therapeutic Sessions: One-on-one targeted clinical support featuring Specialized Psychopedagogy, Speech and Language Therapy, and Occupational Therapy.

Evidence-Based Frameworks & Clinical Methodologies

Our therapeutic programs utilize internationally recognized, gold-standard methodologies tailored to neurodivergent profiles:

  • TEACCH (Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication-Handicapped Children)
  • MAKATON & PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) for alternative communication
  • Sensory Integration (SI) & Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)
  • MORE (Motor Organizes Recognition Expression) & Sensory-Motor Approach to Feeding
  • KINEMS (Digital game-based learning and movement analytics)

Comprehensive Family Support & Enrichment Activities

True early intervention extends beyond the clinic walls. We embrace both the child’s natural environment and their creative expression through targeted secondary services:

  • Family-Centric Care: Providing ongoing psychological support, structured parental psychoeducation, and individualized home-based interventions directly within the child’s natural environment.
  • Weekly Enrichment Program: Cultivating joy, physical coordination, and sensory regulation through specialized activities led by certified therapists, including Music Therapy, Adaptive Physical Education, and Therapeutic Horseback Riding (Hippotherapy).
