Diagnostic & Therapeutic Services (DI.TH.Y.)

At the “Theotokos” Foundation, the support we provide to every beneficiary is rooted in the close collaboration of an interdisciplinary team of specialized professionals. This team includes educators, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, and medical personnel. Together, we design and implement personalized rehabilitation and training programs tailored to enhance functionality, foster autonomy, and facilitate smooth social inclusion.

The DI.TH.Y. interdisciplinary teams deliver comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to both beneficiaries and their families, working in constant alignment with our instructors and trainers.

The Diagnostic Process

Our diagnostic pathway is structured through comprehensive social and medical history intake, clinical medical examinations, and the administration of validated psychometric, occupational therapy, and speech-language assessments. Every specialty evaluates beneficiaries based on the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) framework. Therapeutic goals are then established by focusing on the individual’s current level of functionality.

The Therapeutic Approach

Our therapeutic framework is strictly individualized, depending entirely on the personal needs, potential, and unique profile of each person.

Academic Partnerships & Internships: The DI.TH.Y. team collaborates closely with Higher Education Institutions in Greece and Cyprus. We proudly offer internship placements, providing high-quality training and clinical supervision for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Speech-Language Pathology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, and Psychology.
